We have issued many sync and master licenses to film and TV companies. Nine of our songs were featured in the movie Clubbed which was released in 2009. Recent projects include Crying With Laughter (2010) and Soulboy which is due for UK cinema release in September. Twenty of our songs are on Northern Soul's 200 Greatest Floorfillers and nine are featured on the TV-advertised album 101 Northern Soul Anthems (Virgin/EMI).

Our masters are licensed to companies such as Universal, Ace, Demon, Sanctuary, BBE, Passion, Expansion, Soul Brother, Grapevine, Formosa, Selecta/Shotgun etc.

► EXCLUSIVE WRITERS

Millbrand also has a roster of British writers and producers such as Andrew Napoleon, Leon Watson, Sam Sullivan, Mark Rayner and John Hodgson.

► HISTORY

Millbrand MD Paul Mooney owned Ardent Music and the Ardent, Zing and Forever labels where he worked with Sam Dees, GC Cameron, Ronnie Dyson, John Ellison, Byron Woods, Marshall Titus and others. In 1993 he negotiated record and publishing deals with Polydor and PolyGram for the double-platinum selling group Lighthouse Family. Paul also owns SELREC which operates the Selecta and Shotgun labels and owns the catalogues of Ardent, Zing and Forever. Selrec are exclusive international licensees of Quinvy, South Camp, Norala, Creative Funk and La Beat etc. The company also provides mastering and manufacturing services for other labels.
