The Chestnut Brothers (Al and Ty) are a very talented singing, songwriting, production team born in Columbia, South Carolina and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They have entertained audiences in major U.S. cities, throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East. Although he majored in Mass Communications, he pursued a career in music while attending Emerson, and worked as a “roadie” with local artists such as, New Edition, Jozun Crew, Planet Patrol, Hypertension and the Energetics. However, Bobbe watched and learned from these seasoned artists and consequently developed his own style. .

Clayton Lancaster laid down the gorgeous, choppy guitar licks which drive the whole mid-tempo groove, and the absolute pinnacle is formed by the glorious, soaring backing vocals of Jimmy’s sister, Mary.
