Freddie Chavez and John Wagner started in the mid 60s working on musical dreams. Of course Freddie is best known for the Northern Soul anthem, ‘They’ll Never Know Why’. In the late 70s they started a project; life go in the way and it never came to fruition. “Cold Rain Day” the original 70s mix, never heard before until now! The flip, “You’ve Been Wrong So Long” released around the same time on John’s local label, a country soul opus in the vein of ‘Drift Away’.
